In spite of accusations that we are funded by the Koch brothers, we are just two guys that decided we’d had enough of letting our city council push this monstrosity of a mass transit plan.
Contrary to the opinion of some, in the modern era of technology it is not that difficult to do research, and look at other solutions being utilized by other cities. It is our objective to use our professional backgrounds to bring some of these alternative ideas to the forefront of the public debate.
To be clear, we are not against mass transit, just this plan.
The Team
John Maddox is just a citizen who decided to do something about a very bad idea in the modern age of technology. He an American citizen who was born and grew up on a military base in the United Kingdom, and spent the first 18 years of his life as an expatriate. Since attending the University of Alabama, he has been involved in a variety of entrepreneurial endeavors, hosted a broadcast radio show here in Nashville, been a mentor and adviser in several startups; sweat equity investor in others.
He has lived in Nashville for 10 years, and as someone who grew up in another country, this is now his home.
Johann Porisch is originally from San Antonio, Texas and has lived in Nashville since completing his degree at Baylor University. He is a strong supporter of entrepreneurship, patriotism and is currently engaged in becoming an officer in the United States Marine Corps.
His professional background is in marketing and public relations, hospitality management, and has engaged in a variety of ventures in the music business.
